As 2016 ends, 2017 begins. Since most people anticipate the start of the New Year, today will be the last day of 2016. Many individuals make elaborate New Years celebrations.

2016 Ends

Although 2016 began for me on a sad note, after losing my sister, Edie in November 2015. Hence, I’m looking forward to saying goodbye 2016.

New Years Celebrations

Of course, today begins New Years Eve celebrations around the world. New Years celebrations will begin today and continue into the early hours of January 1, 2017. Traditions for New Years Eve are:

Lunar New Years

In addition, many countries celebrate New Years on the first day of the lunar calendar. Furthermore, Chinese New Year is celebrated around the world. Additionally, this holiday is held in celebration with food, family, money and many other things for good luck. Also, money is usually in red envelopes for good luck.

Vietnamese New Year is a popular and festive holiday in Vietnam. Japan celebrates New Years on January 1st. Korean New Year is the first day of the Lunar calendar. Also, many Koreans celebrate New Years on January 1st as well.

New Year

When anticipating the new year, plan what to remove and keep for the new year. While many of us would like to get rid of things from the prior year, try to remove as much as you can. As you begin the new year, start fresh.

Everyone wants a fresh start. Out with the old and in with the new.

2017 Begins

As 2017 begins, prepare a bucket list. Since preparing a bucket list is different from your resolutions, create a list of things you would like to do, see, and experience in the new year.
