  • Best Ways To Stay Cool This Summer

So, if you’re like me, you’re looking to stay cool this Summer. Today’s post is some tips for staying comfortable during those humid and hot days.

    Stay Cool – Outside

Since many of us struggle during the humid days and nights, there are a few things we can do to stay cool. Indeed, humid days can affect anyone.

In the first place, if you’re planning to be outside for long periods of time, wear comfortable clothes. When you’re wearing looser clothes, you’re apt to feel much cooler than wearing body fitting styles. Also, I suggest wearing lighter colors. I always find when I wear black, I feel much warmer.

If you’re planning to exercise outside, visit my prior post for tips. Take advantage of exercising early in the morning or later in the evening. At the same time, any type of water sport is a great way to stay cool while getting exercise.

In the same way, make sure you stay hydrated. By keeping cold water nearby, you will keep your body refreshed. I also keep small Evian spray cans in my handbag. The Evian facial spray is a great way to keep your skin hydrated. In addition, this is the perfect accessory for your handbag, gym bag or travel plans. I find every time I’m on an airplane, I’m constantly using my Evian spray.

Another tip is to keep your bottle of water or drink on ice before heading outside. If you have a small ice pack, place it in a small cooler bag. Moreover, the thermal insulated Cooler Bag Handbag is a great accessory to keep your lunch or snacks cool.

    Stay Cool – Indoors

If you don’t have air conditioning in your home, plan to go somewhere that you can get relief. By the same token, you can always go to a Museum, Shopping Mall or Theatre.

Since I have central air conditioning, I enjoy spending a lot of time inside. It is important to keep your bedroom cool during sleeping hours. Because I like it cold, I keep my temperature at 60 – 62 degree Fahrenheit for the Summer season.

In addition to my Home’s central air conditioner system, my Husband bought me a bed jet. Bed jet was introduced on Shark Tank and I immediately knew this was something I needed. For anyone who gets hot flashes, or their body temperature is cold, the bed jet has dual settings. For me, the temperature controls help keep me cool all night long.
