Christmas Hanukkah overlap December 24, 2016 for the 5th time in 100 years. When holidays combine, it makes it nice for any interfaith couple or family. Because my Husband is Catholic and I am Jewish we celebrate both Christmas and Hanukkah.
Of course we have a tree as well as a Menorah. Since neither my Husband or I are overly religious, we have fun with both these holidays. We put up a beautiful white tree with silver tinsel, white lights and beautiful ornaments we have bought throughout the years. In addition, I have a fun shoe Menorah on my mantel.
