Happy Cheese Pizza Day! So, today is a day to celebrate this fun non-holiday. No doubt, pizza lovers across the country will be indulging in ordering a classic gooey cheese pizza today.
Cheese Pizza
Tomatoes weren’t added to pizza until the 1700’s. However, it didn’t become popular until the early 1900’s. Now, you can find pizza with tomato sauce and without. Are you ready to indulge in your favorite pizza dish? In the first place, there are many different versions of cheese.
For example, you can order a Neapolitan which is a variation made with tomatoes and mozzarella. Or, you can order a classic cheese with tomato sauce. Since there are many variations, different places may have up to four different types of cheeses on their pizza. And, many places offer extra cheese pizza’s.
Celebrate Cheese Pizza Day
Are you looking for ways to celebrate this fun, yet delicious non-holiday? So, the following are a few of my suggestions for ways to enjoy this day. In the first place, if you’re the type of person who likes to cook; why not make your own pizza? You can easily do this by either buying dough or making your own.
For some tips on making your own, be sure to visit my Pizza Making post. Not only is the pizza maker below ideal for making your own homemade pizza; but you can also re-heat take out pizza or frozen pizza. In addition to pizza, you can also make a lot of other food.
Whether you buy prepared sauce or make your own, you can get creative by adding spices and herbs. Also, you can use a white sauce. In addition, you can use various types of cheese such as:
- Blue cheese
- Brie
- Burrata
- Goat cheese
- Mozzarella
- Parmesan
Another way to celebrate this day is to have pizza for all your meals. At the same time, start your day and have a breakfast pizza and add some bacon and eggs to it. For lunch and dinner, have a slice of your favorite cheese pizza. And for dessert, you can have a chocolate pizza with fruit and add a whipped cream cheese. Mm – yummy!
In conclusion, make sure you visit your favorite pizza place for a slice today. Finally, for all pizza lovers, there is a National Cheese Pizza Day celebrated in February. Wow – two non-holidays – devoted to pizza lovers!

Happy Just Because Day! So, if you’re wondering what the meaning of today is; celebrate the day by doing something you want to do. In the first place, how many of us do things daily that is expected of us? Well, today – this is about to change.
Happy Just Because Day
Accordingly, today was created by Joseph Goodwin in the late 1950’s. It began as a family holiday and grew into a national celebration throughout the United States. Since most of us are always running around, use today as a day to do things you really want to do.
First and foremost, the day is about doing things we normally wouldn’t have the chance to do. Whether it is spending the day by yourself or with friends and family; make the day about doing something different.
Similarly to World Sauntering Day, today is a day to pause and take a moment for yourself. More importantly, the day is about getting outside and enjoying the day. Be sure to visit our World Sauntering Day post for ways to enjoy the day.
Happy Just Because Day Celebration
The following are a few ideas on ways you can celebrate “Just Because” day.
- First, find something different to do today.

- “Just because day” doesn’t have to be about anything specific – just do something you always felt like doing, just because….
- Or, start the day by doing something you always wanted to do. Whether you decide to splurge or try something out of the ordinary – remember you don’t have to have a reason – just do it because….

More importantly, today doesn’t have to have a reason behind it. In essence, the day is to think outside of the box. Do something because you want to, not because you have to.
Enjoy today, just because.
